Sheri Chisholm is an Associate Professor of Biology and the Honors Program Coordinator at WVU-PSC.  She has been at Potomac State College since 2009.  She is active in Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS) and  NACADA:The Global Community for Academic Advising.  Sheri teaches courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Microbiology and Exercise Physiology to students pursuing a future in a health science field.  Her professional and research interests include the areas of effective teaching practices particularly in the development of critical thinking skills, academic advising to a wide variety of students, and peer mentoring.  When she is not busy with her multi-faceted position as a faculty member and academic advisor, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, coaching 4H Horse Bowl and Hippology teams at the state level, spending time with her animals, traveling, exercising, cooking, scrapbooking and quilting.
